UTD Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM) Intern - Dallas-Fort Worth, TX

Conduct patient consultations by explaining test procedures and accurately applying recording electrodes per the 10-20 system. Calibrate and adjust IOM equipment to optimize recording parameters, troubleshoot malfunctions, and maintain proper working order. Identify and eliminate artifacts, recognize normal and abnormal patterns, and document waveforms, latencies, and voltages following established clinical protocols. Assist with clinical research activities including literature searches and database analyses, and support audit completion for clinical quality outcomes. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinical Manager or Corporate staff.
