Job Summary
Engage fans during all Utah Jazz home games by prompting chants, holding signs, and encouraging organic moments through pregame and in-game activities like dance-offs and crafts. Interact with diverse audiences to answer questions, take photos, and create lasting memories while observing the environment for safety issues. Represent the Utah Jazz brand and mission by collaborating with the Hype Crew Captain and Production Assistants to deliver customer-centric solutions. This seasonal, part-time role requires attending 75% of games, including preseason and playoffs, with a 5:00 P.M. pregame meeting for 7 P.M. tip-offs. Candidates may also assist with game-day operations for the Salt Lake City Stars and Utah Mammoth.

- Ability to simultaneously handle numerous tasks
- Perform under tight time schedules
- Superior attention to detail
- Must be a team player
- Strong communication skills
- Customer service-oriented
- Must be available to attend 75% of all Jazz home games
- Must be available at 5:00 P.M. for the pregame meeting
- Must be able to communicate and express themselves both in writing and verbally
- Must be able to observe, inspect, estimate, and assess
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 6 hours
- Ability to consistently walk up and down arena stairs
