Job Summary
Conduct ICU/CCU float pool duties on 12-hour night shifts, rotating every other weekend. Provide critical care coverage with potential mid-shift float to additional units or locations, including ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele. Maintain ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications while adhering to Utah licensure and specific program gap requirements. Submit required references and complete pre-employment modules for on-boarding. This 15-week travel assignment begins September 14, 2026, with paid travel time included for location changes.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years)
- Utah license or compact license
- Must live >60 miles from facility
- 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health
- 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health
- 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health
- Must be able to float to additional units and locations
- Travel only, local not allowed
- Every other weekend
- May be asked to float to another location mid shift (paid travel time) or into any other acuity level; ICU, PCU/Stepdown, & MS-Tele
- Number of holidays allowed off: 1
- Start assignment restriction: 14 days
- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
- Driver's license required for submission
