Senior International SOF Support SME Team Lead for USSOCOM J3-I Division. Responsibilities include serving as the primary point of contact for contract activities, managing project operations (work planning, scheduling, task assignments, contractor travel, surge support), and overseeing quality assurance of all work products. Maintain continuous coordination with the J3-I government lead, COR, and designated technical representatives to address concerns and ensure customer satisfaction. Provide senior-level international SOF expertise across all elements of J3-I, support strategic planning initiatives, and help mentor Allied and Partner Nation SOF officers on USSOCOM structure, components, culture, and operational frameworks. Develop measures of performance and success to evaluate mission execution and perform security-related close-out and escort duties when required. Position requires Former Senior Army Special Forces officer with 15 years of combined ops experience, Master’s degree in international relations or related field, SAMS graduate, 1-year combat/operational experience in combined joint special operations, and experience with coalition SOF partners; TS/SCI eligibility clearance is required.
