Job Summary
Senior-level role supporting USSOCOM J3-I engagements by planning, coordinating, and executing high-level multinational events and engagements. Requires strategic research, read-ahead package preparation, drafting international engagement strategy, providing expert international relations guidance to leadership, and coordinating with DoD organizations, U.S. Embassies, and partner nations. Must have strong planning, writing, and communication skills, experience with Commander’s Action Group at the COCOM/TSOC level, and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in international security studies
- 1 year recent experience in developing, coordinating, & executing strategic level engagements on a Commander’s Action Group or Political Advisor at the COCOM/TSOC level
- 3 years’ experience using analytic and communication skills to prepare staff and coordinate written products and briefings for senior leader use
- 3 years’ recent experience in developing business and communication strategies to achieve strategic objectives
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

- Policy awareness and situational awareness of U.S. international relations strategies
- Security procedure familiarity and close-out/escort duties understanding
- Ability to prepare read-ahead packages with strategic objectives and talking points
