Job Summary
Greet guests, scan tickets, and direct traffic upon entry while sharing venue history and assisting with accessible services. Monitor assigned areas during events to control access points, enforce safety policies, and manage crowds. Execute emergency duties including evacuations, assist guests needing wheelchair escorts, and resolve complaints or guest issues. Perform assigned roles such as ticket scanner, seating, elevator operator, or curtain attendant. Work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays while standing for long periods in loud or dim environments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- one to two years of customer service-related experience
- Ability to speak clearly and concisely under pressure
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other colleagues of the organization
- Irregular and extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to climb stairs and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
