Job Summary
Lead, plan, and conduct qualitative and quantitative research activities to define service experiences focused on user needs. Manage and coach a small team, developing staff performance and assisting with career growth while representing user research across the organization. Design and lead workshops across the project lifecycle, working closely with client teams to deliver research plans and strategies. Apply expert knowledge of information architecture and interaction design principles to create actionable insights that drive needs-based design and service design outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Lead, plan, develop, and conduct research activities, ensuring the right methods are applied
- Expert knowledge and application of qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Sound understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles
- Work closely with client teams to deliver relevant and appropriate research plans and strategies
- Designs and leads workshops across a project lifecycle
- Represents user research across the organisation
- Demonstrated ability in managing, coaching and developing senior members of your team and wider community
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels
- Excellent commercial awareness
- Strong stakeholder management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a full-service digital agency environment
- Demonstrable knowledge of user-centred design practices
- Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies
