Job Summary
Partner with designers and product managers to identify research opportunities across the end-to-end product lifecycle and plan studies using usability testing, interviews, card sorts, and concept testing. Conduct qualitative and generative research to uncover needs, validate ideas, and inform product strategy from early discovery through post-launch evaluation. Synthesize findings into actionable insights that influence product direction and champion the voice of the customer across teams. Contribute to evolving the research practice, operations, and tools while applying lean principles to deliver insights at the right time.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working in-house within a product team (not just agency or consultancy experience)
- Evidence of experimenting with AI tools to enhance your research process (for example in planning, synthesis, analysis, or operational efficiency) while maintaining research rigour and critical thinking
- The ability to clearly demonstrate how your research influenced product decisions and outcomes
- Proven expertise in usability testing, both moderated and unmoderated, including planning, facilitation, and analysis
- Hands-on experience with qualitative methods such as interviews (moderated and unmoderated), diary studies, and card sorting
- Experience leading research from problem framing through to evaluation and impact measurement
- The ability to tailor your approach to context: balancing rigour with speed, depth with efficiency
- Strong storytelling and communication skills
