Job Summary
Design clear, effective, and user-centered software experiences that improve usability, accessibility, and workflow efficiency for complex enterprise environments. Translate requirements, business rules, stakeholder input, and user needs into clear user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes while applying UX principles and visual design fundamentals. Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA, and stakeholders throughout Agile/Scrum processes to support complex workflows across transportation management, logistics, brokerage, accounting, and operations. Use the design system effectively by applying established components, patterns, and standards, while contributing to its improvement by identifying gaps and documenting reusable guidance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 3+ of professional experience in UX design, product design, interaction design, or a related role
- Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret technical instructions involving both abstract and concrete variables
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret trade publications, technical documentation, reports, and other business-related documents
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to respond to inquiries from customers, peers, and members of the business community
- Ability to prepare clear, grammatically correct business correspondence and documentation
- Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software
- Proficiency in Figma
