Job Summary
Design and optimize digital healthcare products using user-centered design methodologies, including co-facilitating Human Centered Design, Lean UX, and Agile processes, prototyping tools, and usability testing. Translate user needs into product value through journey mapping, usability findings, and concept demonstrations; create designs aligning business goals, product vision, and user needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (digital strategy, product management, development), provide SME guidance, and ensure quality design delivery on time with experiential metrics. Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Sketch, UserZoom, UserTesting.com) and knowledge of multiple design disciplines (design systems, service design, visual design, UX strategy, content strategy, information architecture). Familiarity with agile methodologies and SAFe is a plus. Travel 0-25%. Office-based in Pittsburgh, PA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a design related field
- 3 years with human centered design strategies and design thinking exercises, and understanding of usability, analytics, and user testing
- 3 years of collaborating with Front-end engineers and Product managers to organize project planning and execution standards
- 3 years with leading, moderating user research and usability testing
- 3 years of strong facilitation, collaboration, and consensus-building skills
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating usability, user-centered design, storytelling and content strategy
