Job Summary

Vice President Experience Design Lead for AI in CIB Operations, shaping user experiences across products and services with Conversational AI tools. Lead design and research strategies, guide end-to-end design initiatives for AI-powered chat tools and human-centered conversational interfaces, diagram service flows, wireframes, and prototypes, and collaborate with AI/ML engineers and product managers to deliver customer- and employee-centric solutions. Drive data-informed design decisions through analytics, iterate with user and agent feedback, scale design execution across multiple projects, and partner with stakeholders to establish end-to-end conversational experiences. Contribute to the Design System and Visual/Conversational Design Language, mentor junior designers, and present work to diverse business stakeholders. Requires expertise in UX, information architecture, interaction design, data visualization, and conversational AI, with proven ability to create north-star representations and to lead workshops that align design strategy with business goals.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in user experience design or conversational AI design
  • Demonstrated ability to create visual representations of user journeys (storyboarding, wireframes, prototypes, conversational flows)
  • Experience designing, prototyping, and deploying Conversational AI solutions using NLP/AI technologies
  • Inclusive design and accessibility guidelines experience
  • Proven ability to develop transformational strategies and north-star representations to drive customer- and employee-centric decisions
  • Proficiency with industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma) and conversational design platforms (e.g., Dialogflow, Microsoft Bot Framework)
  • Experience designing for high-density, data-driven, and conversational experiences
  • Ability to reason through user and agent problems, create detailed mockups, and collaborate with engineers
  • Understanding of different UX research phases and communicating concepts to stakeholders
  • Experience leading design-driven workshops and new business thinking in cross-functional/AI contexts
  • Strong facilitation skills and ability to run complex design workshops
  • Mentorship experience for junior designers
  • Comfort with enterprise environments and AI tool deployment
  • Knowledge of Agile/DevOps practices is a plus
  • Enterprise-domain design experience (financial services or similar) preferred
  • Knowledge of AI/ML capabilities and their influence on design solutions
