Job Summary
Perform comprehensive inspections on used vehicles to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns. Complete repairs and maintenance to dealership standards, including vehicle reconditioning to prepare inventory for retail sale. Identify additional repair recommendations during inspections and ensure every vehicle meets safety, quality, and reliability standards. Maintain accurate repair documentation and keep your work area clean, organized, and safe. Work closely with the Used Car Manager and Internal Advisors to prioritize inventory.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman Automotive Technician certification (or equivalent)
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
- Experience working in a dealership or high-volume repair facility
- Ability to work efficiently in a flat-rate environment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Positive attitude with a team-first mindset
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Used vehicle inspection or reconditioning experience is an asset
