Job Summary
Negotiate purchases of used equipment from private sellers by evaluating items, determining value, and assigning resale grades. Set resale prices accounting for profit, inventory, repair costs, and market trends while monitoring stock levels to limit overstock on difficult-to-resell items. Sign customer checks for sold merchandise as assigned. Requires strong negotiation skills, knowledge of photo equipment trends, and at least three years of experience operating and evaluating equipment. Hourly rate between $34 and $42.50.
