Job Summary
Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently while diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning. Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues, then communicate directly with the Used Car Service Advisor to inform them of additional service needs and provide time estimates. Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications. Requires one year of service technician experience, B-level qualifications in diagnostic and engine repair, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
