Used Car Technician

Diagnose vehicle malfunctions, perform repairs on repair orders, and road test vehicles to verify concerns. Communicate findings with service advisors, prepare labor and parts estimates, and coordinate with the parts department. Check for service bulletins, document all work performed, and ensure repeat repairs are signed off by the service manager. Supervise apprentice technicians, maintain shop cleanliness, and manage dealership tools while complying with safety regulations. Requires ASE certifications, electrical systems certification, and experience with foreign vehicles.
