Job Summary
Perform repair work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, diagnose malfunctions, road-test vehicles to verify quality, and document work performed and test procedures. Maintain tools and a clean workspace, manage time and materials efficiently, and ensure customer vehicles are returned in pre-service condition. Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications; participate in and utilize technical training; review bulletins and communicate with dealership staff to meet customer needs. Ensure safety and quality standards are met, and contribute to a best-in-class customer experience. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 ASE certifications (Master Technician)
- Valid driver's license
- Three to five years’ automotive experience
- Ability to perform repairs in Lube and Maintenance Services, Engine Repair, Suspension/Steering, Brake, Electrical/Electrical Systems, Heating and A/C
- Commitment to safety and compliance with manufacturer standards
- Ability to pass manufacturer training and maintain required certifications
