Job Summary
Inspect and diagnose preowned vehicles to identify needed repairs and maintenance, then perform mechanical repairs and multi-point inspections to address safety and mechanical concerns. Partner with the Preowned and Service teams to keep vehicles moving through reconditioning while verifying repairs and performing quality checks to ensure they meet dealership standards. Maintain accurate repair documentation and follow established service procedures to help ensure preowned vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready for sale. Support team performance by working collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Required Qualifications
- A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
- Automotive repair experience with strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Experience servicing and repairing a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to prioritize work and meet reconditioning timelines
- Team-oriented approach with strong communication and follow-through
