Used Car Service Technician

Job Summary
Inspect used vehicles and diagnose mechanical, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, air-conditioning, engine, and transmission concerns. Perform repairs, road tests, and recalls while completing accurate parts and labor estimates. Execute reconditioning work within established turnaround-time expectations using modern diagnostic equipment and special service tools. Document repair orders clearly and communicate status to service advisors or management. Maintain a clean, safe work area and provide or maintain required tools. Submit to a drug screen and background check with a valid driver's license. ASE certifications are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician experience
- Strong automotive diagnostic and repair background
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced reconditioning environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to complete repairs accurately and meet production expectations
- Must provide or maintain the tools required for the position
- Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
- Clean and valid driver's license
