Job Summary
Perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned, diagnosing malfunctions and executing fixes per factory standards. Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed components, save and tag warranty parts, and examine vehicles for additional safety or service needs. Advise the service advisor immediately if work is incomplete, unnecessary, or outside promised timelines. Document all performed work, road-test vehicles for quality checks, and supervise apprentice technicians. Maintain a clean shop environment, account for all tools, and adhere to federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
- Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Pre-Owned Vehicles Technician is preferred
