Job Summary
Manage the used car department by developing sales consultants, working with third-party vendors, and achieving monthly sales quotas while floating between new and used inventory. Build customer relationships to generate referrals, provide training to staff, and oversee inventory lot operations including vehicle tagging, positioning, and trade appraisals. Order vehicles from auctions or off-lease, conduct desk deals, track revenue logs, and administer annual forecasts and budgets. Partner with the service department to complete internal work on used vehicles prior to lot entry. Requires prior sales consultant and F&I manager experience, 3-5 years of automotive experience, and ability to handle high-volume business and conflict resolution. Bachelor's degree preferred.
