Job Summary
Transport vehicles between dealership lots, service departments, auction locations, and other designated areas; assist with inventory organization and lot management; ensure all used vehicles are clean, fueled, properly parked, and displayed according to dealership standards; conduct regular lot inspections to verify vehicle placement, condition, and inventory accuracy; assist with receiving and checking in new used vehicle inventory; perform basic vehicle checks including battery status, tire pressure, fuel levels, and visual condition assessments; support sales and service departments with vehicle transportation as needed; follow all dealership safety policies and procedures; complete additional duties assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred
- Previous automotive dealership or lot porter experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and time-management skills
