Job Summary
Oversee used car inventory, manage physical and online listings, and establish pricing based on market conditions and dealership goals. Appraise incoming vehicles to ensure cosmetic and mechanical reconditioning meets cost and time limitations while maintaining monthly sales volume forecasts. Attend auto auctions regularly to track activity and prices, and set controls for wholesaling activities. Communicate daily with sales management regarding inventory targets and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local retail automotive laws. Enhance customer satisfaction throughout the entire purchase experience while adhering to company mission and values.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Automotive Sales Management experience
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- Knowledge of the local market and auctions
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Ability to work well in a process driven environment
- Clean driver's license
- Must be insurable through liability insurance company
- Must be able to remain in stationary position 80%
- Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions
