Job Summary
Used Car Buyer responsible for prospecting, appraising, and presenting offers to current vehicle owners to purchase their vehicles from multiple sources for resale. Duties include calling, following up and scheduling appointments for customers to come in and appraise and purchase their used vehicles, using CRM for prospecting and lead generation, interfacing with current used vehicle owners, appraising vehicles, working with Sales Managers to build and propose offers, introducing guests to sales department personnel, reviewing monthly goals with management, and maintaining high standards of customer service and communication. Requires 2-3 years in a similar role, strong computer skills, ability to work independently and in a team, and a professional appearance.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years in a Used Car Buyer role in a dealership setting, or vehicle procurement in the automotive rental industry
- High level of customer service and excellent communication skills
- Professional personal appearance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Office computer skills
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license
