Job Summary
Conduct basic repairs on used vehicles, including tires, brakes, alignments, batteries, shocks, and struts. Diagnose and fix repair problems, then test-drive vehicles to ensure work is completed correctly. Perform work safely and efficiently using a basic set of tools while operating motor vehicles with manual, automatic, and EV transmissions. Lift and move items up to 100 lbs, climb, lean, and reach as required by the position. Schedule options include Monday to Friday shifts from 7am to 4pm or 8am to 5pm. Work within a high-volume 17,000sq ft. State-of-the-Art Reconditioning Facility serving three major brands, with an average of 400 repair orders per month.
Required Qualifications
- Be an Experienced Automotive Technician
- The ability to read, and comprehend information and perform calculations
- The ability to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer
- Perform bending, pushing, climbing, leaning, twisting, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and other maneuvers associated with the position
- Operate a motor vehicle cautiously and safely
- Lift/move items up to 100 lbs
- Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Operate motor vehicles with manual, automatic transmissions and EV's
- Operate necessary equipment, both manual, and power driven in a safe manner
- Schedule Option of Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm or 8am to 5pm
- A post offer driving/criminal background check
- A post offer drug screen
- A lifting test
