Job Summary
Provide therapy to students with speech and language disorders under the direct supervision of a licensed Speech/Language Pathologist, delivering instruction and/or therapy to individuals or small groups; monitor and report progress toward IEP objectives; perform clerical and student-assistance tasks; may work with Early Childhood, Elementary, or Secondary students and with students with mild to moderate disabilities; travel between assigned locations; maintain accurate records; administer and score assessments; collaborate with staff to support students’ progress and maintain a positive learning environment; adhere to safety and confidentiality requirements; participate in trainings and district meetings as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University
- Criminal Background check
- Health and Inoculation Certificate on file in Central Office
- FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
- Wages: Based on hourly rate, number of days worked, and completion of required trainings (9-month school calendar)
- Essential Functions: Provide therapy to a diverse range of students with communication disorders under indirect supervision; implement and monitor instructional plans; maintain records; collaborate with staff; ensure confidentiality; etc.
