Job Summary
Seasonal USCG Master Captain at Barton & Gray Mariners Club. Safely operate club vessels, deliver polished hospitality, tailor trips to member preferences, and collaborate with on-site mechanical/harbor teams to ensure seamless operations and high safety/appearance standards. Maintain accurate post-trip reporting and expense records. Relocation and housing assistance are provided; benefits include PTO, 401k, health/dental/vision, short-term disability, and ongoing training. Requirements include a USCG Masters license (Near Coastal), USCG Medical Certificate, Marine Radio Operator Permit, CPR/First Aid certification, strong vessel experience, basic maintenance/log-keeping knowledge, excellent communication, and physical ability for rescue.
Required Qualifications
- USCG Masters captain’s license, Near Coastal
- USCG Medical Certificate
- Marine Radio Operator Permit
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Strong experience on vessels of similar size
- Understanding of basic vessel maintenance & log keeping
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability for person overboard rescue
