Job Summary
Vision Center Manager oversees sales in the Vision Center, ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, in-stock levels, budgeting and forecasting, and community outreach. Leads and develops Vision Center Associates, delivers superior CustomerMember service, guides product selection based on MemberCustomer needs, verifies prescriptions and measurements, performs minor frame repairs, maintains confidential information and optical equipment, ensures compliance with company policies and legal guidelines, and drives initiatives to improve performance and customer satisfaction while upholding Walmart's Open Door Policy and ethical standards.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules
