Job Summary
Technical Refrigeration/HVAC Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing Walmart facility refrigeration and HVAC equipment across store locations. Use hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete repairs, inspect and diagnose issues, and provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls. Utilize the work order management system to receive repair orders and document activities, ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, and perform safety procedures. Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights; roles require EPA Type I/II certification for refrigerant handling and 2 years of mechanical maintenance or construction-related experience (or 4 years in related field). Lives in or works at Owosso, MI and Saint Johns, MI locations as designated by job postings; full-time roles with Walmart benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
- EPA Type I/Type II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to pass MVR
- 18 years or older
