Job Summary
General Facilities Maintenance Technician at Walmart performing routine maintenance to uphold safety, functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart Stores. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple crafts (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment), following work orders, inspecting and diagnosing issues, responding to emergency maintenance calls, and ensuring safety and training requirements are met. Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR
- Vocational or Technical certification and 1 year experience, or 2 years total work experience, in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trades
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs at a time
- Comfortable working at heights
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods
- Able to work in various temperatures
