Job Summary
Maintains quality and accuracy of inventory by tracking and identifying freight manually or with computer software, conducting audits on shipments and warehouse cycle schedules, inspecting freight and products for correct quantities and conditions, researching discrepancies, preparing/reviewing/analyzing reports and moving freight manually and with powered equipment. Provides basic maintenance to equipment, prepares and analyzes reports by entering data, documents inventory of salvaged/donated/less-than-case freight, processes paperwork, and maintains organized files. Collaborates with managers and partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and improvement opportunities, while adhering to policies and ethics standards and supporting Walmart’s values and open-door culture. Aids in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across the supply chain operations and inventory controls during the 2nd shift.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months experience in Walmart Supply Chain clerical responsibilities (e.g., filing, data entry) using computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheet, word processing) OR 1 year’s experience in clerical related responsibilities (e.g., filing, data entry) using computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheet, word processing)
