Job Summary
Directs and develops the store leadership team and hourly associates to achieve sales, profitability, and customer service goals. Oversees budgeting, staffing, training, mentoring, succession planning, and performance management across a high-volume, multi-functional store. Implements and enforces compliance with company policies and procedures, asset protection, and safety standards. Builds relationships with local organizations and communities, drives talent development and retention, and champions continuous improvement and data-driven decision making. Creates a high-performing culture aligned with Walmart values, delivering a customer-first experience while managing operational excellence, inventory, pricing, and in-store execution. Leads the Academy training environment and ensures store standards, engagement, and a culture of belonging across the workforce.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 2 years general management experience, including financial accountability and 4 years’ experience supervising at least 50 nonexempt and at least 5 exempt associates/employees, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and termination
- OR 4 years general management experience, including financial accountability and 4 years’ experience supervising at least 50 nonexempt and at least 5 exempt associates/employees, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and termination
