Job Summary
Store Manager - Supercenter leads and develops the management team and hourly associates to achieve store objectives across operations, merchandising, and company direction. Oversees compliance, asset protection, safety, budgeting and forecasting, and customer service while driving recruitment, training, mentoring, and performance management. Partners with community outreach initiatives, delivers Open Door policy support, and ensures store standards and Academy training programs are executed to optimize sales and profit growth. Oversees talent planning, succession, and engagement to build a high-performing, ethical team aligned with Walmart values and EDLP/EDLC business models.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 2 years general management experience, including financial accountability and 4 years’ experience supervising at least 50 nonexempt and at least 5 exempt associates/employees, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and termination; OR 4 years general management experience, including financial accountability and 4 years’ experience supervising at least 50 nonexempt and at least 5 exempt associates/employees, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and termination.
