Job Summary
Store Manager in a Walmart Supercenter setting responsible for directing the management team and hourly associates across facility operations, merchandising, and company direction. Develops and communicates a strategic vision, ensures compliance with policies, oversees asset protection and safety controls, drives store financial performance, budgeting and forecasting, and leads recruitment, training, mentoring, and succession planning. Builds high-performing teams, delivers customer-focused service, supports academy training environments, champions community outreach and belonging initiatives, leverages data insights to drive continuous improvement, and partners with local stakeholders to execute business plans. Responsible for attracting and retaining talent, creating an engaging culture of integrity and ethics aligned with Walmart values, and enabling associates to thrive while meeting performance and operational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 2 years general management experience, including financial accountability and 4 years’ experience supervising at least 50 nonexempt and at least 5 exempt associates/employees, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and termination
- OR 4 years general management experience, including financial accountability and 4 years’ experience supervising at least 50 nonexempt and at least 5 exempt associates/employees, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and termination
