Job Summary
Leads and develops store teams through coaching, training, and feedback; drives store financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls; ensures high-quality customer service and merchandising, inventory flow, and shrink reduction; promotes a culture of belonging, integrity, and open communication; hires, trains, mentors, and evaluates hourly associates, assigns duties, and reinforces expectations; collaborates with stakeholders to achieve store-wide goals, implements action plans to improve processes, and supports company initiatives and policies; aligns with Walmart values and Open Door Policy while utilizing OBW service standards and EDLP/EDLC business models to serve customers.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years’ college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience
- For facilities that sell firearms, acknowledgement of CBC requirement
- For facilities that sell only ammunition, acknowledgement of possible state requirements
- Attending and completing job-required trainings and assessments
