Job Summary
Lead and contribute to large-scale, data-driven software initiatives for Walmart's marketplace platform. Provide technical leadership, review requirements, translate them into scalable solutions, design and maintain APIs and microservices, and drive on-time delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and communicate status to stakeholders. Required: 8+ years of software development experience with Java; 3+ years building UI/UX with Node.js and React; experience designing scalable cloud-based APIs, microservices, and data-driven architectures; familiarity with REST/GraphQL, Spring, Tomcat, Kafka/ActiveMQ, relational and NoSQL databases, CI/CD, and agile practices. Preferred: Master’s degree in CS/related field and accessibility/ WCAG considerations. Primary location: Sunnyvale, CA. Required Qualifications
- Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
- Option 2: 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area (preferred).
