Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care to customers by processing prescription orders, counseling on medication needs, and administering immunizations while maintaining controlled medication and confidential documentation. Develop and execute action plans that improve business solutions, safety controls, and quality assurance reviews. Model compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and HIPAA standards by analyzing reports, implementing loss prevention measures, and guiding associates on proper service approaches. Monitor progress on strategic initiatives, identify root causes of errors, and foster a culture of patient safety and integrity within the pharmacy team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
