Job Summary
Staff Data Scientist to join Growth Tech team, partnering with business, product, and engineering to rapidly prototype, design, implement, test, deploy, and improve software solutions that solve challenging business and technical problems. You will use agentic coding tools and frameworks to accelerate development, contribute to multi-agent workflows with coordination and dynamic task execution, and build observable, secure, production-grade AI-driven systems. You will lead knowledge sharing and training on AI-native application development across the organization, and work across technical and non-technical teams to translate needs into practical, scalable outcomes. The role emphasizes iteration, ownership, and improving systems continuously within Walmart’s health, retirement, time-off, and other benefits ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
- Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 4 years' experience in an analytics related field.
- Option 2: Masters degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 2 years' experience in an analytics related field.
- Option 3: 6 years' experience in an analytics or related field.
