Job Summary
Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician responsibilities include maintaining and repairing Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets across multiple crafts (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment) using hand tools and power tools; utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders to support Stores and Store associates and to document repair activities; provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls; inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues; complete required training to operate equipment and tools safely; and contribute to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment with opportunities for professional growth and access to comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational or Technical certification and 5 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade, or 7 years' experience in one of these trades
- Valid Driver's License
- Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- 1 year's experience using intermediate-level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
