Job Summary
Senior Manager of Global WAN: lead and manage a team of WAN engineers to build and run high-performance, scalable WAN and backbone networks; develop long-term strategy for backbone infrastructure; plan day-to-day capacity additions, hardware refresh, and code upgrades; triage network incidents; collaborate with Cloud, Security, and Infrastructure teams; communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders; create and manage design and operations documents; qualifications include extensive experience in routing, MPLS, SD-WAN, EVPN/VXLAN, DWDM, IPv6, DDoS mitigation, RPKI, Multicast, and network automation (Python/Ansible); strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, and project delivery experience; CCIE/JNCIE or equivalent is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, electrical engineering, or related area
- 5 years’ experience in large-scale networking environments or related area
- 2 years’ supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional teams
- 7 years’ experience in large scale networking environments or related area
- Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, electrical engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in large-scale networking environments or related area
- Option 2: 7 years’ experience in large scale networking environments or related area
