Job Summary
Senior-level security technology leader responsible for driving Walmart’s Global Security Technology and Innovation initiatives. Define and operationalize scalable architectures integrating camera vision, AI analytics, drones, and intelligent alerting platforms; lead deployment of advanced retail security use cases (ORC detection, workplace violence prevention, perimeter monitoring, parking lot intelligence, active threat response); collaborate with Global Tech, Asset Protection, Operations, Legal, and Compliance to align investments and deployment priorities; oversee enterprise response coordination and operational improvements related to security technology incidents; represent strategy and risk posture in executive leadership forums; bring 10+ years in security technology or related domains, 5+ years leading senior/large global teams, and strong executive communication, governance, and vendor-partnering capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Emergency Management, Risk Management, Security, or related field and 6 years’ experience in security, emergency management, risk management, law enforcement, fire service, or related area OR 8 years’ experience in security, emergency management, risk management, law enforcement, fire service, or related area
- 2 years’ supervisory experience
