Job Summary
Packaging Operator on 3rd shift responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining packaging equipment to ensure accurate and efficient packaging of pet food products, performing quality checks on bag weights, seals, and labeling, handling material feeds, and documenting data while following GMP and food-safety guidelines; role involves setup and adjustment of machines, basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaboration with supervisors, maintenance, and quality teams; requires ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work various shifts including weekends/holidays; training on First/Second shifts prior to 3rd shift is expected.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in packaging operations or manufacturing is preferred
- Familiarity with automated packaging equipment is a plus
- Forklift certification (Preferred)
- HACCP or GMP training is a plus (not required)
