Job Summary
Overnight Stocking Coach leads and develops teams by teaching training and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Builds and communicates store operations plans, supervises merchandising and inventory processes, drives financial performance including budgeting and shrink mitigation, and ensures exceptional customer service through the OBW service model. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, hires and trains staff, and promotes a culture of belonging. Ensures compliance with company policies and supports Walmart values and Open Door policy, coordinating with stakeholders to meet customer and business needs. The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and continuous improvement to achieve sales and profit goals while maintaining high standards of integrity and ethics.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience
- For facilities that sell firearms, I acknowledge that the position for which I am applying will require successful completion of a firearms-specific CBC and Firearms Authorized Training
- Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.)
