Job Summary
Lead Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services at Walmart: lead a team of exterior service technicians to deliver superior commercial landscape management and exterior maintenance. Responsibilities include overseeing grass cutting, pruning, irrigation, pest/disease management, pressure washing, and other grounds/building maintenance tasks, ensuring safety and ethical standards, coordinating training and work orders, and maintaining strong customer service and record-keeping. Requires leadership experience, proficiency with mobile/desk tech for work orders, a valid driver’s license, and high school diploma or equivalent; preferred qualifications include associate-level horticulture knowledge and relevant certifications.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years’ experience in landscaping/gardening industry
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- DOT physical and medical certification within 90 days of hire
- English language proficiency
- No DUI/DWI within 3 years
- No more than 2 moving violations in 3 years (commercial vehicle)
- No serious traffic violations in 3 years (commercial vehicle)
- Successful completion of DOT physical
Desired Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in horticulture or related area
- Certified nursery and/or landscape professional
- Bilingual Spanish
- State/local licensing where required
