Job Summary
Label pet food bags accurately and perform general labor duties to support production and warehouse operations in Farmina's manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include applying labels to bags, cleaning work areas and equipment, moving/organizing materials, and assisting production staff. Requires following GMP and safety procedures, reporting equipment malfunctions or hazards, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. Must be able to stand/walk and lift up to 50 pounds; operation of material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) may be required. Shift flexibility including overtime and weekends may be needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Must be able to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Knowledge of basic math and data entry for inventory tracking
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow GMP and safety procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding manufacturing environment
