Job Summary
Freight Flow Associate at Walmart/Sam's Club in Grapevine, TX. Responsible for operating forklifts safely, picking up/moving/placing merchandise pallets, managing inventory flow, organizing stock from distribution centers and suppliers, and maintaining safe facility conditions. Provides member/customer service, assists with self-service technology, helps customers with purchasing decisions, and promotes products and services. Maintains sales floor merchandising, processes defective merchandise, and supports club pickup orders. Maintains accuracy of inventory, uses pallet jacks and forklifts, conducts safety checks, and adheres to policies, procedures, and ethics. Offers benefits including health coverage, 401(k), paid time off, education programs, and other company perks; wage range $19.00–$27.00 per hour with potential premiums. Minimum qualifications include forklift experience and safety responsibilities; preferred qualifications include customer service, retail experience, and team supervision.
Required Qualifications
- 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification
- Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Forklift certification required as per minimum qualifications
- Experience with inventory control and merchandising preferred
