Job Summary
Lead and develop store teams by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and promoting a culture of belonging. Drive financial performance for the designated store area through budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses; ensure merchandis ing, inventory flow, and shrink mitigation align with sales goals. Oversee customer service initiatives, respond to customer needs, and implement action plans to improve performance. Build relationships with stakeholders, communicate business objectives, and promote continuous learning and adherence to Walmart values and Open Door Policy. Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, recruit qualified staff, and maintain high standards of integrity and ethics.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience
- For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training may be required
- Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings)
