Job Summary
Directs supply chain flow from supplier to store, aligns execution with sales and profitability metrics, and champions end-to-end costing and lean concepts. Oversees cross-functional collaboration among supply chain stakeholders, analyzes cost and process efficiency opportunities, provides recommendations to address disruptions, and manages relationships with external partners through scorecards and performance reviews. Leads organizational capability-building by recruiting, mentoring, and developing talent, while upholding Walmart values and integrity. Oversees design and delivery of new ways of working, ensuring achievable flow plans and continuous improvement, with a focus on reducing waste and maximizing service levels for customers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 5 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area OR 7 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area
- 3 years’ experience with advanced functionality of Microsoft Office
- 2 years’ supervisory experience
