Job Summary
Area Manager - Energy Center (Grocery) Automation to oversee refrigeration maintenance operations, supervise associates and leaders, manage staffing and scheduling, and ensure safety and quality standards across energy-center facilities. Responsible for maintaining refrigeration equipment, diagnosing problems, coordinating repairs, monitoring compliance with OSHA/PSM/EPA/NFPA and other regulations, driving continuous improvement, managing budgets and asset utilization, and leading hiring, coaching, and development of associates and leaders. Coordinates with leadership to implement the business plan, monitor productivity through refrigeration reports, and maintain training and documentation to support operations and safety.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year Walmart Energy Center Refrigeration Technician experience OR 1 year industrial warehouse refrigeration systems experience OR 1 year refrigeration/HVAC maintenance supervisory experience
- Obtain RETA Certified Assistant Refrigeration Operator (CARO) and Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator (CIRO) certifications within 30 months of job entry date and maintain them while employed in this position.
