Job Summary
Monitor alarms and respond to calls from security and fire monitoring systems while conducting vehicle and foot patrols at headquarters and multiple sites in Camden, NJ. Perform routine and random checks to ensure site safety, security, and fire prevention, and monitor CCTV systems to identify suspicious activity or hazards. Respond to incidents, assess situations, and escalate appropriately, coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency responders when needed. Maintain accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and daily activity to support overall site safety and security operations. Work flexible rotating shifts from 10:30pm to 7:00am in all weather conditions, adhering to safety protocols and using required PPE.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2–5+ years of security experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills
- Clear communication and report-writing ability
- Comfortable using surveillance systems and basic technology
- Combination of indoor control room monitoring and outdoor patrols
- Regular patrols in all weather conditions (rain, heat, cold)
- Flexible rotating shift schedule (hours available currently 10:30pm - 7:0am)
- Required use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols
- May include light physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs, and lifting small items
- Consistent full-time hours (40 per week)
- Flexible shifts/days with advance scheduling
