Job Summary
Lead the KEM Cell production team by assigning work to up to eight hourly employees, including machine adjusters, operators, and inspectors. Drive safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement while identifying and resolving production and quality problems. Manage daily operations with high attention to detail, utilizing MS Office and SAP skills to coordinate workflows. This role requires 2 to 5 years of experience, preferably in a leadership capacity, with KEM cell experience preferred. The position involves 80% standing and walking, lifting up to 35 pounds, and working around moving machinery. Shift runs Monday to Friday from 2:45 PM to 10:45 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of work experience
- High School diploma or equivalent work experience
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office with an emphasis on Excel, Outlook, and a working knowledge of SAP
- Developed communicative skills, both written and oral
- High attention to detail and judgment based on written procedures and guidelines
- Ability to quickly identify production problems and ability to identify quality problems
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well with others and cooperate with team members and leadership team
- Sitting at workstation as little as 20% of work time
- Standing and walking as much as 80% depending on assignment
- Lift / push / pull up to 35 pounds
- Ability to twist, reach, squat, and bend
- Requires ability to reach, grasp, and manipulate objects
- Full color vision
